Mason Feole joins Connected Performance as one of the most accomplished pitchers in the history of D1 baseball. Mason pitched 11 scoreless innings for the Collegiate Team USA, was both a two time All-American, and set the career strikeout record at UConn. Prior to these accomplishments, doctors told Mason he would never play sports again after being diagnosed with multiple tumors in his hip. After defying the odds and dominating college baseball, Mason would be drafted by the Padres in the 11th round in the 2019 draft. He was later named to the Padres top 30 prospects list. Over the course of Mason's career he would suffer a torn UCL, two shoulder injuries, and an oblique injury only to come back after every injury sustaining a 95-97 mph fastball.
